Snowboarding is one of the best ways to get an all-around workout, but what if there's no snow or you
don't really like the cold that much?
Dirtsurfing is the answer! Developed by an Australian snowboarding expert who wanted a year-round
solution to his snowboarding addiction, dirtsurfing is a perfect way to cut and carve the slopes without
any snow- on dirt, grass or on pavement. In my opinion, it's even easier than riding a snowboard. And
the dirtsurfer has brakes too!
Dirtsurfers are exceptionally easy to ride. In fact, unlike a skateboard, the faster you go, the more
stable they become. This is due to the larger wheels and patented steering mechanism. As soon as you
get moving, the front wheel stabilizes and only turns when you lean. Even people without snowboard
or surfing experience can quickly learn to ride the Dirtsurfers. If you start on a grass hill with a gentile
slope, you should be riding the board successfully within a few minutes.
To control speed, the brake is a simple lever-activated disk brake mounted on the rear wheel. Just
nudge the brake bar with your leg by leaning towards the rear for progressive, powerful braking. If you
brake too much, your forward momentum will move you off the brake lever and reduce braking, to help
you maintain control.
The Flexi Pro is the deluxe, smooth-riding, jump capable machine! The higher profile frame and
flexible deck allow for nice tight carves and unsurpassed stability on rough terrain. Nothing will hold
you back - ride it all!
Features:
* A new Type 3 thermo-fiber deck made in Australia. The new deck is far stronger than the maple-
composites used in the past, so will hold up to all you throw at them. The deck is no longer flat, but
shaped with an upward convex curve lengthwise that, along with the thermo-fiber material, gives you
way more pop to get more air and pull off bigger tricks! It is also shaped with a concave curve width-
wise for better grip and control while riding!
* A new aluminum brake arm to eliminate flex and allow for much greater stopping power and
control along with durability. The new brake arm has two positions: upright for casual riding and
forward for more aggressive riding and easier access for smaller riders.
* New Artek/Apse ADC-4.5 disk brake system for greater stopping power and easier maintenance.
* Two new footstrap designs are available aftermarket. Choose between the Standard which is 1.5
times as wide as the 2005 straps or the Deluxe, which are twice as wide as in 2005 and feature a
sliding metal attachment plate and arch cookie to literally lock your feet in place for serious control
while riding the toughest terrain.
* Finally, the Flexi Pro features a new Bright Yellow color and black rims.
